Device & Remote Won't Connect (For CTD only)Updated 2 hours ago
Device Won’t Connect / Remote Stays at 00
1. Make Sure Both Units Are Powered On
Turn on the device
Turn on the remote
Tip: If they aren’t pairing on their own, try “inverse powering”:
Turn on the remote first, then the device.
2. Check the Indicator Lights
The device light should be solid (not flashing red).
The remote should show the home screen without errors.
If the device light is flashing red → it needs charging before it can connect.
3. Attach the Electrode Pad First
For safety, the device will NOT begin stimulation unless it senses skin contact.
Do this:
Snap the device onto a fresh or fully sticky electrode pad
Apply it firmly to your upper calf, thigh, or 3 inches above the knee
Smooth out any lifted edges
Make sure the gel is fully touching the skin
Important: Old or dry pads are the #1 reason the device won’t connect or start.
4. Start the Session & Increase Intensity
Use the remote to increase intensity:
Go up to level 15 or until you feel stimulation
If everything is connected, the remote will go from 00 → 01 → 02, etc.
If the Remote Stays at “00”
This means the device isn’t sensing the pad/skin correctly.
Try the following:
A. Manually increase intensity on the device itself
Press the + button on the device.
If it increases on the device but not the remote → it’s a pairing issue.
B. Replace the electrode pad
Pads that feel dry, lose adhesion, or have worn gel → block stimulation.
C. Move the pad to a fleshy area
Avoid bony spots — the device needs solid contact.
If It Still Won’t Connect
This usually indicates:
Worn pads
Weak battery
Incorrect placement
A pairing glitch
Try:
Reboot both device & remote
Swap both sides of the double-ended charging cable (very common fix)
Charge both units using a different USB port or wall adaptor
Try a new electrode pad
