Here is a study as well, however, not as relevant as this is NMES use during advanced stages of cancer.
We have had many customers inquire about this and there was a recent 2018 study on “The efficacy and prescription of neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) in adult cancer survivors: a systematic review and meta-analysis.”
“The feasibility and acceptability of neuromuscular electrical stimulation to improve exercise performance in patients with advanced cancer: a pilot study”

We always recommend consulting with your physician before using the Corrective Therapy Device and we do not recommend putting the device over any skin conditions such as eczema, skin cancer, lesions, etc.…
These are only 2 studies of over 1200 studies including NMES on the National Institute Of Health from heart failure rehab to post-operative recovery in knee replacement patients.
Hopefully this helps clear the air as this technology is actually being studied in use of cancer patients to improve strength and QoL (Quality of life).
Full study can be found on the National Institute Of Health here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30022346
